Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Martin Paul (Rector of the RUB), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Musch (Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the RUB), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Nüßler, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Knott (Executive Director Fraunhofer FHR), Dr. Corinna Heldt (Managing Director Faculty ETIT of the RUB).

"For the professorship of Integrated High Frequency Sensors, I aim to focus strongly on high frequency systems in the millimeter and submillimeter wave range for industrial applications and new mobility solutions. Here, system concepts for high-frequency applications, systems engineering issues, and the use of additive and generative manufacturing of high-frequency assemblies will be addressed, resulting in a predominantly experimental orientation," Prof. Nüßler explains his plans. "Due to the application-oriented focus of the research topics in direct cooperation with Fraunhofer FHR, there are direct links to third-party funders in the context of publicly funded projects and direct contract research from industry. In addition, there are numerous links to several chairs of the faculty for joint research projects," says Prof. Nüßler.
